Stacy was born and raised in Austin, TX. Her fiction chapbook, You Could Stop It Here, was published by PANK Books in 2018 and was an honorable mention for the Eric Hoffer Book Award, and her short stories have appeared in The New Plains Review, Philadelphia Stories, december magazine, and others. In 2021, her work was nominated for best of net, and she was selected as a writer in residence for Tin House. She teaches writing and literature at Midland College.
