Black Lives Matter
by No Contact Editors
In the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Nina Pop, Tony McDade, Ahmaud Arbery, Sean Reed, David McAtee, and so many Black Americans who will never be reported or known throughout the dark history of racism in this country —
We at No Contact call for justice for the murder of these innocent lives, and for reform. Reform for police violence and targeted tactics against Black and disaffected communities; reform for police oversight and investigation; reform for the systemic and non-systemic racism that continues to exist bare, and visible, for anyone who cares to look.
With the release of Issue Two, we know that there are more important goals and events to focus on right now, which is why we are advocating any reader to first donate to a fund below, or support one of the linked (or your own local) Black-owned businesses, before reading the rest of the issue.
We will keep listening, and learning. We urge you to do the same.
